In a current job interview, Jaleel White disclosed he was “not welcomed at all” to the forged of the hit 90s sitcom, Household Matters.
Steve Urkel is 1 of the most legendary sitcom figures of all time and White’s transform as the basic “geek” character proved so popular that it technically saved the show from cancellation as it struggled with rankings.
In a modern interview, however, White is digging deep into his earlier on the sitcom, revealing that whilst he plainly became the star of the demonstrate, the solid did not always welcome the younger actor with open arms.

White is established to show up on an episode of Television One’s Uncensored, in which he goes all in on the history of his legendary job and time on Spouse and children Issues.
In a preview, White clarifies, “I was not welcomed to the cast at all. They know what it was…I didn’t consider something of it remaining forged to be on Relatives Issues, mainly because it was intended to be a visitor spot, a person and carried out.”
Later on in the clip, White also breaks down how he reacted to his figures of Steve Urkel and also the well-known alter moi, Stefan Urquelle.
He shares in the preview, “I was as caught off guard by the phenomenon of Stefan as anyone…all of America thought I was this way.”
Later, the actor opens up about his late co-star Michelle Thomas, who passed away in 1998 of stomach most cancers at the age of 30. She played his girlfriend on the show.
He says in the clip, “Michelle Thomas became a very particular person…I literally are unable to say her identify or I’ll cry,” he stated whilst holding back tears.

The Spouse and children Matters solid came jointly in 2017 for an official reunion with Amusement Weekly. At the time, White acknowledged Thomas’ absence from the photoshoot on Instagram, contacting her a “little ray of sunshine.” He shared in the caption: “No reunion would be finish with out me acknowledging our beloved Michelle Thomas 🙏🏽 This tiny ray of sunshine gave me some of the greatest bodily comedy times I’ll at any time perform on screen. Michelle’s smile never ever unsuccessful to brighten your day and I will for good overlook my bubbly Myra Monkhouse #RIP😔1968-1998 ❤️ I appreciate you, Michelle #prayersup🙏🏽.”
Jaleel White’s episode of Uncensored will air this Sunday at 10 p.m. EST on Television 1.
